PLASTIC GARBAGE

                    PLASTIC GARBAGE (A BIG PROBLEM)


We use plastic everyday and it is essential for our lifes. Many things arround us are made up of plastic, but there is a PROBLEM a BIG PROBLEM. All the waste of the plastic we throw to the sea are acumulating and if we continue like this probably we'll make a new continet. This "continet" will be dangerous because it will trap  boats, ships, and the most important thing that it will be very very dangerous for the animals because they can get traped or eat the plastics or even DIE and it will change the ecosystem.

               WE HAVE TO ACT NOW


We think that we have to act quikly if not it will be a very big problem and it will be too late.

SOLUTIONS:
We could recycle plastic.
We could buy less things wraped with plastic.
We could reuse plastic.

       Pipes for waste water are made up of this plastic 

CHARACTERISTICS: 
It contains chlorine.
Not safe for direct contanct with food drinks.
Not suitable for toys.
Very resistant (out door conditions). 
can be rigid or flexible.
Hard to recycle.


USES:
Pipes (for waste water)
Artificial leather
Table cloths (hule)
Vinyl Records
Window frames 
Plastic slipers

GOLD AN ANCIENT METAL

 Gold is an ancient metal:

CHARACTERISTICS: 
 Yellow colour and it is very soft.
The most malleable and ductile of all metals. 
Excellent conductor of head and electricity.

APLICATIONS:
Jewerly.
                             Electricity.
                                                            Coins.

HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT:
Non-toxic in small doses.
Not harmful to the environment.

HISTORY:
One of the oldest metals know by humans.
It can be found pure in nature. 
Yellow and very bright.
